Is this just a nicer air freshener?
No, and the distinction is the whole point. An air freshener adds a fragrance so the malodor is harder to notice. Nebuscent adds no fragrance at all. It targets the odor molecules already in the air and breaks them down, which is why the room afterwards smells like nothing rather than like a scent.
Is it safe around patients who are nauseated or scent-sensitive?
Nebuscent was designed specifically for occupied patient care areas, which is why it uses no aerosols, no heavy fragrances and no essential oils. Those are exactly the things that cause trouble for oncology, obstetric, migraine and post-operative patients. Does it replace cleaning or infection control?

Who is meant to operate it?
